Overview

A Student Representative supports students who have any issues on campus. You provide peer support to students, connect them with professional resources, and work to make the campus a more inclusive place.

Responsibilities
  • Be a trusted, confidential contact for students with safety concerns.
  • Guide students on mental support services and how to report issues.
  • Help students communicate with campus staff and services.
  • Advocate for a more inclusive campus environment.

PR Representative

Overview

A PR Representative collaborates with the rest of our PR team in managing outreach, promoting events and workshops, and enhancing our public presence through social media and email campaigns.

Responsibilities
  • Execute promotional strategies for events and workshops.
  • Manage social media accounts, creating and scheduling engaging content.
  • Design and send email campaigns to promote activities and updates.
  • Maintain and update the group’s website or promotional material.

Overview

An Event Coordinator plans and executes student’s events. This role involves managing logistics, scheduling, and coordinating with team members to ensure successful events.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and organize events and workshops, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Have an overview of logistics and delegate them, if needed, to other team members.
  • Oversee event budgets and track expenses.
  • Gather feedback and analyse event success for future improvements.

MINT Representative

Overview

A MINT Representative organizes and oversee STEM-related workshops. This role involves cooperating with the HSLU-I MINT department, preparing content and materials, and ensuring workshops run smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the HSLU-I MINT department.
  • Prepare workshop materials, presentations, and hands-on activities.
  • Take part in robotics leagues planned by MINT as a judge or volunteer.
  • Gather feedback to improve future workshops.
