About us
We are a student association made up of women studying at the HSLU (Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts) Computer Science department. Our goal is to actively promote an inclusive, supportive, and respectful campus culture. We want to help create an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and encouraged to thrive. As an association, we’re here for all students — to listen, to support, and to contribute to a fair and inclusive university community.
We also run a subgroup called Women in IT, which provides a dedicated space for women on our campus. Since women are still a minority in our field, this space is especially important for sharing experiences, building connections, and empowering each other.
At our core, we believe every student should feel welcome, respected, and valued. Together, we can strengthen our campus community for everyone.
What we do
Creating a Supportive Community
We foster an inclusive environment where women can connect, share experiences, and support one another throughout their academic journey. Through regular events and an active community network, we provide a welcoming space for meaningful connections and personal growth.
Promoting Awareness & Inclusion
Our association organizes impactful workshops and awareness events that explore topics just as diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. These educational initiatives are open to the entire university community, promoting dialogue and understanding across all backgrounds.
Student Support & Empowerment
We offer guidance, resources, and a listening ear to any student seeking support or advice. Our goal is to help every student feel confident, valued, and empowered to succeed within a caring and respectful campus environment.
MINT Outreach & Engagement
In partnership with our university’s MINT department, we actively participate in AI and robotics workshops and competitions designed for young learners. Through these initiatives, we inspire the next generation while strengthening our own technical skills and community presence.
